"I am a Waldorf trained teacher studying to finish my MEd from UC Santa Cruz.  I received my Bachelor’s from Northwestern University, where I majored in Social Policy and minored in International Studies.  I had the wonderful opportunity of learning about intergenerational patterns, somatic trauma, and using art, storytelling, and theatre as healing modalities with my work in Colombia and South Africa.  I have now been working in the fields of holistic health and education for 15 years."

"I started out with a dream to make a robot like Johnny 5 from Short Circuit. That lead me on a path of computers, robotics, AI, psychology, anthropology, and philosophy while working at many tech jobs while also teaching computers at elementary school. Eventually, I ended up working at Disney Interactive for a few years.  This job was the perfect platform to incorporate all of my creative skills with my tech skills to make games and understand virtual worlds.  After a few amazing years of examining games, making and breaking down game mechanics and what makes a game fun, I decided to leave to make my own stories, and to build games that had more depth and soul as well as reconnected us back to our reality, rather than escaping it.  I made a few Virtual Reality games to teach science, boxing, and astrology but realized that the real game was still our personal stories and our personal lives… and so here we are in the Cosmic Labyrinth where we bring people together to make learning fun again."

Syrissa is the founder of E Lūmīna Energetics- putting her tools in service as a trauma informed facilitator, ceremonialist, herbalist, chef, mixologist, voice artist, & certified reiki one & two practitioner. She has always believed that variety is the spice of life & enjoys watching all of her acquired skills come together in her offerings.

Based on Hawaii Island, she continues to study with various indigenous communities around the world while tending the land & making medicines. She had the pleasure of being on an herbal team that created new structures around the concept of food as medicine on the Manhattan bar scene-opening multiple top elixir bars at The Assemblage NYC co-working/wellness houses while also studying with an inter-tribal plant medicine community through the years. She went on to curate the elixir & brunch program as well as the Cacao + Sound Meditation Journeys at The Hawaiian Sanctuary. She is proudly an Onomea Land Steward - growing, harvesting, curing for our seed bank & creating herbal blends for teas, tinctures & other medicines along the Hamakua Coast.

Mick Lorusso is an interdisciplinary artist who has 10 years of teaching experience in STEAM, art, and mindfulness both in independent schools and at the collegiate level. He’s currently the STEAMWork Design Studio assistant at the Westridge School for Girls in Pasadena, CA. He has spent the last seven summers teaching high school students at the UCLA Sci l Art Studio + Lab, and he worked as the STEAM Coordinator for unserved populations at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles. He earned his MFA at San Francisco Art Institute and BA at Colorado College. He is a Kundalini Yoga instructor and teaches Art and Awareness Yoga classes to the homeless. He’s a member of the Cosmic Labyrinth and the Mexican interdisciplinary cooperative XOCIARTEK. He speaks English, Spanish, and Italian.
